RULES & ELIGIBILITY: All events are governed by the 2005-2008 Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the prescriptions of US Sailing, and/or the LBIYRA 2008 Rules and Regulations for Junior Events and is open to skippers and crew who are members of clubs affiliated with the LBIYRA, except as any of these are changed by the Sailing Instructions or any appendices to the Sailing Instructions. 

 

SCHEDULE:

JUNIORS- Wednesday, July 30th

Classes: Optimist Dinghy – White, Blue & Red Fleet, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, Sunfish, C420  Registration: at LEHYC prior to Skipper’s Meeting at 9:30AM

Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks: provided to skippers and crew

Fees: $5 per Junior

Trophies: awarded immediately following the last race

 

SENIORS-Saturday, August 2nd

Classes: Lightning, and B Cat Boat

Registration: 8:00AM-9:30AM

Skipper’s Meeting: 9:30AM, Harbor Gun 10:00AM, Warning Signal 11:00AM

Lunch: BYO

Trophies and Snacks: immediately following the last race

No warning signal will be made after 3:00PM

 

 

SENIORS-Sunday, August 3rd

Classes: Laser Open (Radial & Full Rig), Sunfish, M Scow

Registration: 10:30AM-11:30AM

Skipper’s Meeting: 11:30AM, Harbor Gun 12:00PM, Warning Signal 1:00PM, first Race Start

Lunch: BYO

Trophies and Snacks: immediately following the last race

No warning signal will be made after 3:30PM

 

GENERAL (Seniors)

Three (3) boats per class to start

Three (3) races per class are planned but one (1) race constitutes a regatta

Light Breakfast served during registration, please bring your own lunch

Fees: $5 for single handed, $10 for multihanded boats

Registration: Prior to Skipper’s Meeting
